We know that tonight, with your generous support, we can continue moving forward and innovating, so that we are able to bring to our students opportunities and experiences that prepare them for a wonderful future.
The greater the resources provided, the greater the possibilities that we create!
Please raise your paddles to support our partnership, our teachers, and our children’s education and future.

The Estrellas Brillantes classroom project is just what you need to complete your space. Our children are offering a 6′ x 2′ x 18″ planter box freshly built out of beautiful redwood. The children carefully and lovingly sanded it by hand and stained it a rich color, and, for the finishing and most beautiful touch, adorned the planter with their handprints. The planter box comes with bagged soil and plants generously donated by our families. It’s ready to go – all you need to do is pick the perfect spot in your yard!

Lower Elementary – Grades 1 & 2 – Move Over Georgia O’Keeffe!
Spring Hill Academy’s Pathfinders (first and second grades) have studied the life and works of Georgia O’Keeffe and have created their own version of her signature flowers. Medium: Acrylic paint on watercolor paper. “When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for a moment. I want to give that world to someone else.” ~ Georgia O’Keeffe
Lower Elementary – Grade 3 – Natural Hearts
Each child in our 3rd grade class has poured his or her heart and soul into this incredible and personal representation of hearts. This large photographic collage captures each student’s unique and lovingly made heart.
The hearts were created from the native elements that are part of Spring Hill Academy’s beautiful natural-setting campus – a place that is home away from home for the students. The beauty of imagination, childhood creativity, and the special place that is the genesis of this work evoke serenity and affection. Who wouldn’t want that as a part of their home!
Upper Elementary – 3-Dimensional Yearbook – Integrating Technology into the Arts
The integration of art and technology has been brought to life with this 3-D class yearbook. Students are discovering that creativity and technology are not mutually exclusive and that what they are able to create is
limited only by their imagination.
The Upper Elementary class has been engaged with 3-D technology to advance the school’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) project-based learning through experimentation, solving problems, design thinking, and understanding complex concepts. The students are the proud beneficiaries of the Petaluma Educational Foundation Grant for 2016 and purchased a 3-D printer with a portion of those funds. As part of their weekly Makers and Tinkering program, they have been exploring the technology of 3-D printing.
Integrating technology into the arts is a way to expand our minds in areas of design thinking and creativity with materials. This work represents the future of technology integration into not only the arts but our lives.
